LPU’s holistic approach towards education and personality development is solidified by LPU alumni Apeaksha Raina (MBA) who was recently crowned ‘Mrs. Colorado International 2018’ in the USA.
Apeaksha was born and brought up in India until her husband’s work relocated her to Denver, Colorado. The couple was also blessed with an adorable daughter who makes Mrs.Raina feel complete as a mother.
Having suffered personal loss by way of death of her father due to non-availability of organ donor made her a strong advocate for Organ and Tissue Donation. She believes being a beauty queen does not solely revolve around glitz and glamour but also involves duties and responsibilities. The value that made her the goodwill ambassador for “Donor Alliance”, a nonprofit organization that is working to save lives through organ and tissue donation.
Winning a crown in a foreign country was not easy at all and we congratulate Mrs. Apeaksha Raina for this achievement and wish her the best of luck in all her future endeavors.
