We are proud to share that LPU B.Tech. Biotechnology student Anurag Shukla has bagged the 1st Prize in the 47th Kamalnayan Bajaj Memorial National Elocution Competition held in Maharashtra! He expressed his views on the topic, “India @75 – Society, Economy and Governance” and earned a lot of appreciation at one of the most prestigious and oldest elocution competitions in India.
Anurag Shukla is one of the people I have personally seen grow at the university. I met Anurag almost a year ago and understood his great potential just by his vigor. He started his journey with some university-level elocution and debate competitions. He was given the responsibility to co-host one of the biggest events on the campus and he turned the tide with his practice and continuous efforts in improving his script and delivering it in the best way possible.
Anurag’s determination shows in his work whether it is anchoring, elocution, or debating. He also portrays the best teamwork possible in some of UNYC’s Vitarkah, debate competitions. The array of opportunities he pursued while at LPU has prepared him a lot for the National Elocution Competition.
The number and quality of opportunities LPU provides on the campus as well as outside are more than enough for the holistic growth of a student who aspires to achieve great things in future and develop the best out of it. Let us get inspired by this achievement of our fellow verto!
