The much-awaited LPU’s mega cultural fest “ONE WORLD 2019” was inaugurated yesterday on November 15, 2019. It is one of the most fascinating and impactful events of LPU, completing its 10th edition, this year.
ONE WORLD provides a way to understand different cultures, values, traditions, ritual activities and etiquette of different countries in a creative way by the students. Whole LPU family, especially the students, the participants, mentors, HOD’s were excited about this mega event.
It all started on the day when each school had been allotted a particular country, to showcase their culture, traditional activities, innovations, and inventions. Students of different departments, from different countries, have worked a lot cooperatively on projects, models and decorations. No doubt, faculty mentors have worked really hard in making everything.
Every developing country is looking for innovations and development, taking cognizance of that, the theme decided for this 10th One World is “INVENTIONS AND INNOVATIONS”.
LPU Chancellor Mr. Ashok Mittal and Pro-Chancellor Mrs. Rashmi Mittal welcomed 9 Ambassadors and Diplomats from 6 Nations who inaugurated and witnessed the premier celebrations of the fest.

After welcoming the guests, the procession ceremony started where every school/country got the chance to showcase their work in a glance by passing in a line.
Each performance was breathtaking and full of energetic high screaming’s, dance moves, music along with their innovative models, to attract and entertain the audience of LPU.
The lineup was huge, almost 30 Schools were in the queue and it started moving slowly from Block 25 and reached Unipolis main stage after passing through respective blocks of 26, 27, 28, 29 and Mittal School of Business. Gathered curious students have enjoyed their drama, dances, music, slogans and cheered them with their applauses and shoutings.
Procession performances were short yet had varieties!
Where Ghana performed an energetic dance – a freestyle tribal dance, Nepal has started their performance with sweet and slow music.
Tibet has shown their peaceful “Tibetan Greeting” – Press the hands together and place them in front of the chest, bend forward, to show respect.
UAE has entertained by its traditional Habibi dance.
The procession was then followed by all the cultural dance shows.
Inauguration of ONE WORLD EXPO was announced, which let everyone to visit the exhibition stalls. Participants have been eagerly waiting in exhibition stall areas to interact with visitors and explain the culture, famous places, uniqueness, projects, and innovation of their respective country.
