Dr. Prachi Saxena, Associate Professor, Department of Chemistry at the School of Electronics and Electrical Engineering Lovely Professional University, has delivered a talk in  the 8th International Science Congress Association 2018, on the topic Application of Nanotechnology in drug delivery.

The Conference was organized by International Science Community Association in collaboration with Maharishi Markandeshwar (Deemed to be University), Mullana, Ambala, Haryana, with “Global Green, Growth and Green Economy ” as its Focal Theme. The conference was collaborated with renowned scientist specialist from different parts of organization, some of whom are Dr. Reeta R. Gupta, Central Forensic Science Laboratory (CFSL), New Delhi, Abhijeet S. Kashyap, ICAR–National Bureau of Agriculturally Important Microorganisms, Mau, UP,  India, Dr. K. Vijayamohanan, former Director of CSIR-CECRI, Karaikud, Prof. Geeta Shrestha Mechi Multiple Campus (Tribhuvan University), Bhadrapur, Jhapa, Nepal, Professor S. Santappa, polymer group in CSIR-CLRI, Swaroopa Rani N. Gupta Department of Chemistry, Brijlal Biyani Science College Amravati, Maharashtra, India. Sanjeev Kumar Shrivastava Chief Operating Officer (COO) & ITEC Coordinator,Project Management Office, Centre for Nano Science and Engineering (CeNSE) Indian Institute of Science, Bengaluru Karnataka, Prof. Victor Gambhir Vice Chancellor, Maharishi Markandeshwar (Deemed to be University), Mullana, Ambala, Haryana. ISC-2018 categorized was into 20 sections. A total number of 200 Research Papers from 14 different countries all over the world including Germany, Nigeria, Republic of Slovakia, Nepal and India  were presented.

The Conference was held from 8th to 9th December 2018, and inaugurated by Dr. Jan Šinovský, MAGA S.R.O., Slovakia and External cooperation with University of Zilina, Slovakia .

During the talk in the Conference, Dr, Prachi Saxena emphasized on the importance of development of DDS with respect to its ability to control drug release under the triggering agents, producing less side effects to healthy cell and targeted delivery of the drug. The use of composite material for control drug delivery will not only open a new way but also provide the several possibilities for construction of various hybrid materials in biomedical application.
