LPU Hosted Punjab School Education Board Zonal Level Co-curricular Competitions

Jalandhar, 4th November, 2016: Lovely professional university hosted Punjab School Education Board zonal level co-curricular competition, 2016. During this competition about 4,500 students and teachers from 6 districts like Ludhiana, Moga, Barnala, Hoshiarpur, Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar, and Jalandhar showcased their talent in 15 different competitions. Punjab school education board assigned this responsibility of event to LPU for the seventh time. Different events were organised at six different venues of university.

Competitions like Shabad gayan, vaar gayan, bhashan, sundhar likhai,chitarkala, kavishri, lok geet, solo dance , Bhangra, Giddha and Gatka etc held at campus. In some of the much applauded competitions for senior secondary school students those remained first in Gatka (boys) were from Dasmesh senior secondary school Ludhiana and for girl’s competition were from Ramgarhia senior secondary school Ludhiana remained at second position in both the competitions. Prominence from All India Radio, Doordarshan and another Arty and culture institutions appreciate the talents of students. These Competitions held participants in having reservation of seats for all academic and professional courses at university as well as school levels, as per their talents.

LPU Chancellor Ashok mittal congratulated all participating officers from PSEB, students and teachers on the day of conclusion of competition.
