It has been placed with and ahead of a lot of reputed government universities including the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT of Bhubaneswar, Dhanbad, and Mandi), Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) Bhopal, National Institute of Technology (NIT) Tiruchirapally, University of Calcutta, Pondicherry University, etc. The survey of the Times Higher Education World University Rankingsinvolves nearly 99 countries revolving around 1600 universities all around the globe producing a calculative and qualitative assortment of the universities, comparing the best versus best according to their performances every year and listing them using their effective indicators. Being established in 2005, LPU has become a strong candidate in this proceeding. They use the same four criteria and parameters as in the World University Rankings with a relaxation to the name and fame the university holds. This ranking of THE has placed LPU 27th among the universities of India with a global slab of 351-400! This adds to another star in the sky of achievements by LPU proving again the worth of our university across the nation as well as worldwide.
Not only this, LPU has been very consistent in acquiring significant ranks on the national and global stages. The key statistics of the 2022 World University Rankings show LPU having the ratio of 15:1 of the number of students per staff, 6 percent international students, the ratio of females to males as 23:77 and 31.102 number of FTE students. LPU has amazing tie-ups with international universities which encourage students from around the world to arrive at their doorstep and make the environment home-like for their studies in the university.
