No disability can steal away your ability, perseverance and courage. We are proud to share that LPU student Gajendra Negi recently participated in the National Wheelchair Rugby Tournament 2019, held in Patna and won a Bronze Medal while representing the team of Delhi. He is indeed an enormous example of ‘Never Quit’ attitude and is a great source of motivation for all of us.
16 State Teams of Wheelchair Rugby participated during the Championship. Most of Para Wheelchair Athletes were suffering from Spinal Cord Injuries. LPU regularly hosts inter as well as intra university sporting tournaments and encourages its students to participate in all kinds of sports events.
