Two students of Lovely Professional University (LPU), Amanpreet Singh and Gurpreet Singh have been selected for the 52nd World Shooting Championship to be held in Changwon, South Korea from 31st August to 14th September 2018.
Both of them have been selected for senior pistol events (men), including ‘Rapid Fire Pistol’, ‘Standard’ and ‘Centre Fire’. The championship will last for 16 days and will have as many as 4,500 players from more than 120 countries participating in different events. As many as 708 medals will be awarded during the ISSF championship.
Congratulating the selected students, LPU chancellor Ashok Mittal expressed, “Bring more laurels to the country and the university by giving your best performance from the skills you have learned from your experiences.”
