ROUND 3: ROAD TO COMMUNITY SERVICE

The Covid-19 vaccinations are the most powerful weapon in our arsenal in the fight against the pandemic, and they can be won with the help of governments and communities working together. The most significant obstacle to vaccination has been “Vaccine Hesitancy,” which can only be overcome by increasing vaccine awareness. A few students went a step further and volunteered to create digital posters to raise awareness about the vaccination effort. The Community Service Round is an initiative to raise vaccine knowledge and assure the continuation of health measures throughout the pandemic. It involves supporting, elevating, and offering aid to communities to reinforce the country’s medical backbone. The members who went to the field tried to give the villagers accurate scientific information about the vaccination and explain why it is crucial in the pandemic fight. They’ve also attempted to give them information about the registration process to make it easier for them to register. Team Distant Saviours, A team from the School of Lovely School of Distance Education was crowned winner in this round. During this round, Let’s Fight It Out from the School of Computer Science and Engineering came in second place.
