The scoreboard read 63-4 and then in walked the team captain, Virat Kohli. As a stern and able leader, he took the reigns of the game and brought the team back from the path to loss. With help from young Kedar Jadhav, who hit his 2nd ODI century, Virat brought back the hopes of Indian fans. Some grit and steady play from Hardik Pandya ensured India crossed the finish line with 3 wickets in hands, and India breathed a sigh of relief.

Virat Kohli, the young lad from Delhi, who has shown immense talent in recent times has become the backbone of Indian cricket and its batting unit. In the first ODI against England in the current series, India not only managed to win the game, but also discovered a rock strong middle order batsman in Jadhav and an able finisher in Hardik Pandya. The bowling unit did a good job in restricting England to 350 on a green batting pitch, where bowlers caught no favor.

With Champions Trophy around the corner, the Indian cricket Team would like to hone their skills and overcome their deficits to defend the coveted title they won 4 years back. We hope they keep working the magic they seem to be spinning right now.
