Illustriously, it is the highest score in 1st cycle of accreditation among all Government and Private Universities. It is also the highest score amongst all Dual Mode (regular Education and Distance Education) both Govt. and Private Universities of India; and, the highest score amongst all the State Private Universities of India.
Placements: 2000+ Multinational & National companies have recruited LPU students including 1100+ at packages of Rs 10-78 Lakh. LPU graduates are also working at global MNC at a package of Rs 3 Crore in Germany and at Google India at Rs 64 Lakh. In addition, top recruiters like Microsoft, Amazon, Cisco, Infosys and many more also selected thousands of students at differential packages up to Rs 10 Lakh, including Cognizant 1850+; Wipro 500+; L&T 600+ and more. In addition, hundreds of LPU alumni are presently working in MNCs across the US, Canada, UK, and Australia at the packages of over Rs 1 Crore. Moreover, highest offered monthly stipend for Internships is Rs 1.6 Lakh.
Sports: LPU creates History as First Runner-Up for MAKA Sports Trophy 2023 and its student receiving Arjuna Award. Govt. of India’s Ministry of Youth Affairs & Sports announced LPU as recipient of First Runner- up Maulana Abul Kalam Azad Sports Trophy- 2023 for its supremacy in sports. Also, LPU’s MPEd 1 year student & Kho Kho player Nasreen got declared to receive Arjuna Award. These landmark achievements have entitled LPU as the first-ever private university to clinch first runner-up title since trophy’s inception nearly seven decades ago, in 1956. In addition, at the 19th Asian Games 2023, LPU Students got 12 medals including 4 Gold, 4 Silver & 4 Bronze. Here, 40 LPU students contributed to Indian Contingent’s best ever performance at the games. Indian Men’s Hockey team, comprising 9 LPU Students emerged Gold Medal winning.
Arts & Culture: LPU grabbed the ‘Overall Runner-up Trophy’ at Association of Indian Universities’ All India Inter-University National Youth Festival 2023; North zone youth festival 2023; and, Punjab state youth festival 2023-24. Also, LPU alumni’s talented band ‘RAAGA FUSION’ declared RUNNERS UP at SEASON 10 of “India’s Got Talent.”
Internationalization: LPU has always favoured internationalization of education. Presently, LPU has signed 441+ international MoUs; made 200+ outward student mobility; International Consultancy of Rs 42.29 Crores; and, Erasmus+ funding of Rs 18 Crores. In addition, Hundreds of students have availed Study Abroad Opportunity at LPU’s Foreign Partner Universities. Students opted for international degrees at LPU and to get it completed in the USA, UK, Canada & Australia.
Rankings: Winning many ranks, awards and accolades in 2023, LPU has been included amongst the top 200 Universities of the world in various formats of Times Higher Education (THE) Rankings- 2023 & 24, being ahead of other participating universities of the country. As per THE World University Rankings-2024; LPU is 1st in Social Sciences; 2nd in each Physical Science and Business & Economics; 3rd in Engineering; and, 5th in Clinical Health, as per respective bands for the subjects concerned.
