UK based Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET) and Lovely Professional University (LPU) have collaborated for academics and research in the field of engineering. In this context, Head (Membership & Partnership India) at IET, Mr S Raghvan visited LPU campus and presented IET’s ‘Academic Affiliate Certificate’ to LPU. Executive Dean at LPU Faculty of Technology and Sciences, Dr Lovi Raj Gupta received the certificate on LPU’s behalf. This collaboration will enable LPU faculty and students to interact, share and work with progressive engineers of different countries across the globe.
Mr Raghvan informed that partnering with a global professional organization like IET gives an added professional streak to both students and faculty members. He shared that IET caters to additional cutting-edge knowledge in advanced technologies that are consistently and continuously developed. The benefits of an IET academic affiliation is that it provides unique opportunities to network with IET’s international partners from both academia and industry. Illustrative, LPU Human Resource Development Center keeps on adding skill-based education for all stakeholders by formulating such associations.
On this affiliation, LPU Executive Dean Dr Gupta says that such associations are not only essential to meet the industry expectation but also to gain updated information & future global trends. In addition, these provide global exposure to faculty members and students.
