Infosys organized an ‘Infosys Hackathon Event’ in Chandigarh. The Hackathon Theme was, ‘How can we elevate Chandigarh Tricity to the next level of digitization.’ There were about 40 teams including students and IT Professionals that participated in the event that lasted between September 22 and September 24.
Several Problem statements were given to the teams of students and IT Professionals on separate tracks. The teams that qualified for the final round were judged by a Jury of experts.
The Jury members included Mr. Ajay Srivastava – STPI Joint Director, Mohali, Dr. Mahesh-Head OPD, PGI, Chandigarh, Mr. Sanjay Sharma -General Manager – HUDA, Panchkula, Mr. Vikas Ahuja -DC Head Chandigarh, along with internal members from Infosys.
The Team of Vertos won the first Prize for their innovative Queue Management Solution at the Infosys Hackathon. The Queue Management Solution was demonstrated to PGI(Chandigarh) personal, and they want to take it to the implementation stage.
