Lovely Professional University successfully hosted a Vocational Teacher Training Program for vocational (TVET) educators from Tanzania, reaffirming its commitment to advancing global education and fostering international academic collaboration.

The program was led by Dr. Lyabwene Mtahabwa, Commissioner for Education, Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, Tanzania, and brought together 76 participants with a shared vision of strengthening vocational education systems through modern, skill-oriented approaches.

Designed to enhance teaching effectiveness, the program focused on contemporary pedagogical methodologies, skill-based learning frameworks, and outcome-driven education practices. Participants were introduced to innovative, technology-enabled teaching strategies, alongside practical tools for improving student engagement, classroom management, and industry-relevant skill development.

A key highlight of the program was the dynamic exchange of ideas and best practices between educators, enabling participants to adapt and implement globally relevant teaching techniques within the Tanzanian vocational education ecosystem.
