Architectural Education is undergoing a sea change, Innovation in pedagogy is no longer an option. Now it is a basic requirement for making it a worthwhile learning experience. Teaching and Learning are two sides of the same coin and both need to supplement each other.
This workshop on innovation in pedagogy of architectural education will give you a practical exposure needed for the transition from passing mere information to making learning happen. The sessions will enable the participants to unleash the creativity in the delivery of architectural education and in the process, will ensure that they have acquired the right skills to prepare budding architects with practical insights of architecture and design.
The workshop will take place on November 11 and 12 and will be of two days consisting of four sessions each.
Who should attend?
Any faculty member who is open to new learning can attend the FDP, however, faculty members of architecture, interior design, urban planning and related fields are especially encouraged to attend.
Resource Person:
Prof. Rajeev Garg (Ph.D. IIT Roorkee), a self-motivated professional and academician having more than two decades of experience in the field of architectural academics and profession. He conducts workshops on Effective Teaching in Architectural Education and Intensive Mode Learning. Prof. Rajeev Garg can help you with effective techniques and tools to improve your delivery and pedagogy. He has published 2 books, a manual and more than 20 technical and research papers. He is recognized for teaching excellence based on technical, research and design fundamentals. He is a researcher, trainer, and advisor of architectural education. Avidly curious about the ever-evolving innovations in architecture, he constantly tries to contribute in this area through conducting various workshops.
