“Abstain from drugs and intoxicants” – the great Khali
World renowned wrestler, the “Great Khali” visited Lovely Professional University today. Towereing over the gathering of staff and students, the wrestler answered questions on body building, his international experiences, and about the sport of wrestling. In a short but powerful address Khali urged LPU students, “Abstain from drugs and intoxicants. Live a long, healthy and productive life. Society needs your youthful energy the most for the greatness it has yet to achieve. Live in the service of humanity.”
Welcoming Khali to the campus, LPU Chancellor Mr Ashok Mittal said, “We are happy to receive the great wrestler and very thankful that he took out the time to speak to them about health and physical fitness. I hope our students will follow the wisdom being shared with them.”
