This was made abundantly clear by the 7 Vertos, belonging to the B.Sc Hons., M.B.A, and B.Tech programs, who were selected for the positions of Community Managers by 91Springboard, during a campus placement drive on 3rd December 2016.
91springboard is a vibrant co-working community created for start-ups, freelancers, and business owners with a start-up mindset. Members of 91springboard get access to a co-working space with 24×7 office-infrastructure support, key service providers, knowledge sharing & collaboration, networking, and of course, a free spirited culture that breeds innovation! With 9 hubs, they are currently present in Bangalore, Delhi, Gurgaon, Noida, Hyderabad, Mumbai, and Navi Mumbai.
The selected candidates had to prove themselves to be versatile and highly motivated individuals to meet all the requirements of this unique job profile. The task of helping budding start-ups establish themselves demands highly resourceful and innovative minds, after all.
With more than 600 students registered for the drive, the recruitment process was highly competitive and as challenging for the company as it was for all the applicants. The first short listing was done on the basis of write ups and questionnaires. 112 were shortlisted for the group discussion to follow. Those who made it through were subjected to 4 rigorous, back to back, personal interviews. Each interview brain crunching in its own different way. Only 7 candidates emerged triumphant from the whole, grilling selection process. When the news was broken to them, the room lit up with their joy.
