Sayan Guchait, a student of Lovely Professional University has attended the ‘World Bank Youth Summit 2018’ held at World Bank Group headquarters in Washington DC, USA. The Summit was held on 3rd and 4th of December 2018 with the theme “Unleashing the Power of Human Capital”.
Sayan, who is currently pursuing his final year B.Sc Honours degree in economics from the Mittal School of Business of Lovely Professional University was among the 100 selected candidates who were invited to attend the Summit. . As a young social entrepreneur, he competed against his fellow attendees of the Summit through a submission of an innovative idea that contributes to building human capital, the greatest asset of economies globally.
He also attended various workshops with students and young professionals from 117 countries and experts from the World Bank Group, IBM, Intel, United Nations, Stanford University and many others.
