LPU has announced information related to its entrance test LPUNEST for admission session 2021. LPUNEST is the first step for aspirants across the country to secure their admissions for the university’s renowned B.Tech (engineering) programs. The test also forms the basis of eligibility for rewarding scholarships up to ₹1.2 lakhs per year. 

LPU is not only the largest university but it is also highly rated for excellence in higher education. It ranks one of the top universities amongst all government and private universities in India in NIRF 2020 rankings by MHRD. Its Engineering schools have also been ranked amongst top institutions in the country in NIRF and India Today rankings. Given its mammoth reputation, LPU draws students from 28 states of India and over 50 countries.

LPUNEST 2021 online registration starts on 1st January 2021 and the last date to submit the application form is 26th February 2021. The exam would be conducted online between 27th February 2021 to 6th March 2021. Students would have an option to choose their exam date and time using the online slot booking mechanism which will begin from 1st February 2021 onwards. University will declare the result in March and online counselling and seat allocation process will begin from 5th April 2021.

There would be limited seats in such programs and thus entry to these programs would be highly competitive.

University strongly believes that monetary constraints should not be an obstacle for a student to have access to quality education. Students joining LPU B.Tech programs can avail scholarships up to ₹1.2 lakhs per year basis their performance in LPUNEST 2021. Under the LPU Scholarship Scheme, students have been awarded scholarships worth ₹ 100+ crores in the last year only.
