Hon’ble Minister of State for Education Subhas Sarkar released the Atal Rankings of Institutions on Innovation Achievements (ARIIA-2021), on December 29, 2021. Under the category of “University and Deemed university (Self-finance/Private) (Technical); LPU has been ranked at number three in the whole of India. LPU has been recognized as one of the three most innovative educational institutes in India in the technical category.
The rankings have been prepared after evaluating the institutions on nine parameters. The ranking for technical and non-technical institutes was divided into seven sub-categories. As many as 1,438 Higher Education Institutions participated including all IITs, NITs, and IISc, among others participated in the Third Edition of ARIIA Rankings for various categories.
Addressing the vast congregation of staff members at Shanti Devi Mittal auditorium of the university, LPU Chancellor Mr Ashok Mittal congratulated all for their efforts in earning the prestigious ranking and invoked all to scale more of such heights in the years to come. He also shared that such encouragements will further strengthen LPU’s innovation and entrepreneurial ecosystem. Worth mentioning, LPU always lays a lot of emphasis on innovations among its students.
