The Human Resource Development Center (HRDC) at Lovely Professional University successfully conducted a two-day professional development program titled “SPEECHCRAFT – Effective Public Speaking” for Chartered Accountants in collaboration with The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India – Jalandhar Branch. The event brought together seasoned finance professionals and communication experts in a transformative learning environment.

The inaugural session featured welcome and opening remarks from institutional and industry leaders. Dr. Sunaina Ahuja, Dean & Head, Human Resource Development Center emphasized the importance of communication in leadership. Mr. Sarabjit Singh Kwatra, Associate Dean, Human Resource Development Center, introduced the program objectives and norms. CA Puneet Oberoi, Chairman – ICAI Jalandhar, appreciated LPU’s commitment to professional development.

Dr. Sachin Trilokinath Sidhra, Asst. Professor & Asst. Director, Centre for Distance and Online Education (ODL), LPU. A deep dive into the architecture of impactful speeches. Participants learned to design compelling openings, informative bodies, and strong conclusions, with guided outline creation. by Ms. Kamalpreet Kaur, Asst. Professor, Centre for Professional Enhancement, LPU, who introduced AI tools for content generation. The focus was on prompt engineering, originality, and practical application using free tools for effective speech crafting.
