The Research and Development Cell, Lovely Professional University (LPU), Punjab, successfully organized the International Conference on Artificial Intelligence in Information Security (ICAIIS-2026) on 10–11 September 2026. The conference brought together distinguished academicians, industry experts, technology professionals, researchers, cybersecurity practitioners, innovators, and students to explore emerging developments in artificial intelligence and information security.
The conference was presided over by the Worthy Pro Chancellor, LPU, Dr. Col. Rashmi Mittal, and the Respected Vice Chancellor, LPU, Dr. Jaspal Singh Sandhu.
Prof. N. K. Goyal, President, Cyber Security Association of India (CSAI), Communications & Manufacturing Association of India (CMAI), and Chairman Emeritus, TEMA, graced the occasion as the Guest of Honour.
The distinguished guests also included Dr. Ch. A. S. Murty, Executive Director and CISO, C-DAC Hyderabad; Ms. Megha Pandey, Network Engineer, WIPRO; and Mr. Navtej Goyal, Executive Director, CSAI.
The event commenced with a Welcome Address by Prof. Dr. Monica Gulati, Executive Dean & Registrar, LPU, followed by the Setting the Context Address by Respected Pro Vice Chancellor, Dr. Lovi Raj Gupta.
ICAIIS-2026 served as a vibrant platform for knowledge exchange, research dissemination, industry interaction, innovation, and collaboration, reinforcing LPU’s commitment to research excellence, technological advancement, and future-ready education.
