Advantages of Graduating Early

There are some people who complete their four-year college program in three years or even lesser than that. How? Well, they usually take summer classes when everyone is busy attending the biggest music festivals, taking vacations or bumming at home. These people opt for graduating early, which can give one great advantages towards their career. I have a few listed for you:

1. You save a lot of money: College tuition, the books, and on-campus housing when you’re doing grad school in another city, can all become too expensive to handle. Though you still pay for eight semesters, taking summer classes and graduating early can save you about one-semester worth of money!

2. The job search: You can take advantage of the early job search. Many students graduate in May and that is the peak time for so many people to find a job and apartments and all that stuff. But when you graduate a semester early, you have that opportunity of finding and getting that dream job when there is very little competition around you!

3. Entering the real world: College is fun but it’s like staying in your comfort zone. Moving out of college is like moving forward in life, growing up, getting independent, being your own person, if you know what I mean.

4. Opportunities to travel or take a break: You can go on a fancy trip when you have the saved up money. You deserve to afford yourself some time away from responsibilities. Stepping away from daily life can help you widen your horizons and discover something about yourself which you didn’t know.

That’s all the advantages I can think of, of graduating early from college. Hope I have you motivated, and the LPU campus will be a lot fuller this summer than it usually is :).
