Bollywood’s top actor, producer and martial arts specialist, who has acted enchantingly in over a hundred Hindi films, was accompanied by Sri-Lankan beauty Jacqueline Fernandez & smart star Sidharth Malhotra. Bollywood stars got amazingly enchanted to see a great sea of bubbling youth at LPU Campus and entertained students with chosen dialogue-deliveries, dances, acting skills from famous films of theirs. All of them danced on the popular numbers from their films. The students kept swaying, swerving, dancing, singing along with their favourite stars. In fact, LPU campus kept resounding with students’ yells, yodels, whistles, moans, croons, claps & stamps throughout the four-hour stay of the stars.

Being one of the few stars who take mantra fitness as a way of life, Akshay told students to lead a disciplined life like him with no intake of liquor, nicotine, coffee or even tea. In a key-liner Akshay asked students to respect their parents and to say no to drugs. He shared that he believes in a good workout routine, combined with a balanced diet and healthy lifestyle. Macho star Akshay & smart Sidharth called some LPU students on the stage and formed their respective teams along with students for a competition activity, which is also the theme of their forth coming film ‘Brothers’. The activity was to inculcate a competing and winning spirit among students. Both of them also demonstrated martial arts acumen with the assistance of students. Keeping in mind his first ever profession during days of struggle, Akshay interacted with hotel management students too. Akshay & Sidharth also shared how they moved from models to mark their great presence in bollywood. Nurtured herself in a multi-ethnic family, former Miss Sri Lanka Universe (2006) and many awards winner- Jacqueline seemed very exciting to witness the strong cultural diversity at LPU campus. She loved to meet LPU students from Sri Lanka and Malaysia. Being a graduate in Mass communication, a model and a TV reporter in her earlier days, Jacqueline also specially interacted with LPU students of Journalism & Mass Communication and Fashion Design.

Sidharth Malhotra talked about his journey from being the junior most to a lead actor. LPU Students were very happy on interacting with a great yet a down to earth star like Sidharth Malhotra. Sidharth shared: “I always wanted to challenge my potential. So only at the age of 21, I decided to pursue something that would excite me and I entered film-line.” LPU Chancellor Mr Ashok Mittal said: “We are very happy to receive the galaxy of stars at the campus. In fact, we want our students to stay always inspired and performing on big lines. So when students enter as freshmen or leave the campus after completing their programs, we let them be motivated to attain heights by learning live from the great personalities. Only on these lines the top three bollywood stars reached LPU to encourage the students by sharing the great stories of their struggle, success and experiences.”
