Department of Journalism and Film Production of Lovely Professional University organised ‘Meet the Press’, an event that brought forth the talent to act and perform from within the students. This was an open invitation for the students of all departments to come and pit their wits against similarly gifted competitors.
Pairs of students from various departments participated in the prelims in which one of them acted as an anchor and the other as a famous celebrity. 5 minutes were given to each pair to present the most creative talk show ever. The anchors had to bring out the best responses from the celebrity with their questions. From Barack Obama to Kejriwal, celebrities answered in hilarious responses that had the audience laughing. This was just the qualifying round for the main event to be conducted on 16th November.
