Thirty students and two teachers from Kashmir reached Lovely Professional University under Muhib-e-Watan 2 Programme. Chinar Corps of Indian Army is organizing this special Industrial tour named OP Sadbhavana under which students are visiting the top institutions and industries of the state. Termed as Capacity Building Tour, it reached LPU after traversing a long distance. LPU officials and faculty interacted with the students giving them multiple insights.
Indian Army Captain Ravi Kumar also shared as to how successful the tour was last year. He had led the young and meritorious group of students from Kashmir who secured high marks in Matric, Senior Secondary and ITI classes under the aegis of Chinar Corps. On interacting with LPU staff members and officials, students learned about the importance of higher education. Along with that, they learned about various disciplines and study programmes at LPU.
True to the spirit of the name of the tour, Muhib-e-Watan that encapsulates a patriot who loves and defends his or her country, the students expressed their joy and shared how wonderful their experience was at LPU.
Illustrative, Chinar Corps have planned a ten-day educational & capacity building tour for 30 students of ITI Srinagar & Bemina, under which these aspiring students preferred to come to LPU.
