Lovely Professional University is hosting five-day ‘Mega Job Fair’ at its campus from 26th to 28th February and 7th to 8th March 2018. Eager to avail coveted job-offers, presumed to be made by visiting 100+ national and international companies, hundreds of graduate & post-graduate students are registering on www.ghargharrozgar.punjab.gov.in portal. Solidifying state government’s anticipations to provide employment to 50,000 young men-women through state-wide job fairs, this second mammoth-job campaign is favouring “Ghar Ghar Rozgar” scheme. State-wide fair has already been declared by Punjab Chief Minister S Amarinder Singh. Job-Fair is meant to help both the aspiring job-seekers and jobs providing industry & corporate sectors to have skilled human resource.
Some of the recruiters are Just Dial, Eureka Forbes, Concentrix, Videocon, IDS Infotech, Axis Securities, Max Life Insurance, DHFL Pramerica and many more. The selections will be based on the performance of the applicants in written examination, skills test and personal interview. It is highlighting that all the unemployed young men-women are registering themselves by going to the portal and clicking on the job-link for participating in this job-fair.
Congratulating the government in taking necessary steps for settlement of qualified unemployed youth of the state, LPU Chancellor Mr Ashok Mittal says: “We are once again very keen in hosting this second enormous job-fair through which thousands of young persons are going to secure jobs for their bright future ahead.” Mr Mittal added: “Our brilliant team at LPU Division of Career Services is trying hard to ensure that this largest job endeavour may again prove illustrious one. I also advise aspiring candidates to come prepared to be successful in availing the opportunity befalling at their door-steps.”
Prior to this, state government also planned to set up employment bureau in each district of the state by upgrading the employment exchanges so that each and every qualified person of the state may get a job. This all is under great slogan of the state “Transforming Punjab, Growing Punjab”.
