During the event, emphasis will be laid on the pressing need for immediate action in this regard.

Two national level foundations, Energy Swaraj and SwitchON are collaborating for the success of the unique program for desired results, through commitment by the participants for climate correction. All and sundry are expected to witness this monumental event, where visionary leaders will unite to explore the crucial topic. Grab the opportunity to be part of the conversation that will shed light on the planet’s future. It is open to all be these students, faculty or staff members. Climate crisis is happening now, and it is not a thing of the future, so all need to understand fully to act now.

With the clock ticking down to only a few years from now, before reaching a global warming limit of 1.5°C; there is no more time to waste. In fact, Climate change refers to long-term shifts in temperatures and weather patterns. Such shifts can be natural; however, human activities have been the main driver of climate change, primarily due to the burning of fossil fuels like coal, oil and gas.

The Earth is a system, where everything is connected; the changes in one area can influence changes in all others. The consequences of climate change now include, among others, intense droughts, water scarcity, severe fires, rising sea levels, flooding, melting polar ice, catastrophic storms and declining biodiversity. This needs high level alerts and awakening programs.
