We at LPU are extremely proud to share the amazing accomplishments achieved by our LPU athletes, one after another! We are thrilled to congratulate LPU Wushu players on their victories at the All-India Inter-University Wushu Championship 2022–2023, where they won 6 gold, 2 silver, and 10 bronze medals.
The Chinese martial art of Wushu, usually referred to as Kung Fu, is becoming increasingly well-known worldwide. Traditional and modern Wushu are the two main types of Wushu. While modern Wushu is more acrobatic and has been modified for competitive sports, traditional Wushu is more concerned with maintaining the traditional styles and techniques. Wushu is an art form designed to enhance general health and well-being because it is not only physically demanding but also demands focus and discipline.
