Top higher education monitoring body of the country, University Grants Commission (UGC) has extended the last date of admissions to Lovely Professional University Distance Education (LPUDE) Programmes up to 30th September 2019. It is a golden opportunity for all those admission seekers who missed earlier admission chances. Thousands of students from various locations of Punjab have already taken admission in LPU’s 20+ DE Programmes. These programmes are being pursued even by high-status persons including Olympians, Arjuna Awardees, Army Officers, Entrepreneurs, Leading Farmers, Public Sector Personnel, general students and more. Newly enrolled students are inducted in LPU DE system, as per students’ needs, through counselling sessions with the university officials.
In fact, UGC has provided an extension in the last date of admission for academic session 2019-20, (already commenced in July 2019) to UGC recognised Higher Educational Institutions (HEIs) for offering ODL Programmes. Considering this, the last date of admission to various under-graduate, post-graduate, diploma and PG diploma programmes in the disciplines of Management, Computer Applications, Information Technology, Commerce, Arts and Library Science, offered by LPU through distance education mode, has been extended till last day of September 2019.
LPU DE students enrolled in semester mode programmes like MBA, PGDBM, BBA, MCA, BCA, MSc IT, PGDCA, BSc IT, DCA, MCom and BCom can appear in their first semester exams commencing in December 2019. Whereas students enrolling in annual mode programmes like BA, MA, DLIS, BLIS and MLIS would be able to appear in their first-year exams commencing in June 2020.
Believing strongly that economic condition, age and working status should not stop higher education aspirants in getting access to quality education; LPU has been offering Distance Education programmes at very affordable fee structure since 2007.
