Lovely Professional University recently hosted the AIU’s 2nd International Youth Festival and organized India’s largest global fest “One World 2023”. The event was a celebration of unity in diversity, with students and faculty members from all over the world showcasing their unique cultural heritage. The event was held at Unipolis, and all the participating countries had their own representation and props.
One of the highlights of the event was the One World parade, where students and faculty members from all over the world marched together, showcasing their country’s unique culture and traditions. Somalia was represented with traditional clothing, artifacts, and dances. Malawi showcased its unique dance and music forms and traditional attire. South Sudan displayed traditional clothing and artifacts, while Ivory Coast showcased its famous architectural marine wonders and traditional clothing and cuisine. Bangladesh was represented by its famous artwork and handicrafts, traditional clothing, and cuisine.
The event was organized with great care, with all of LPU’s vertos working together in synergy to make it happen. The competition was between the departments and schools of different disciplines, yet there was unity and harmony among all of them.
