A Management Development Program V-LEAD was organized for employees of Midland Microfin Limited, Jalandhar at LPU campus by Corporate Pathshala and Centre of Professional Development, LPU on 13th and 14th November, 2021. Mr. Narinder Singh Garcha, Associate Dean, Mr. Sarabjit Singh Kwatra, Deputy Dean, Dr.Shrikant Juneja, Assistant Professor, Mr. Sachin Sidhra, Assistant Professor, Ms. Navpreet Kaur, Assistant Professor & Director and Mr. Rishabh Assistant Professor, LPU were invited as coaches for the program.

Dr. Sunaina Ahuja, Professor and Dean, HRDC, LPU welcomed 29 participants of Midland Microfin from all across India and the resource persons. In her address, she motivated the participants to align themselves with the vision and mission of the organization. Mr. Narinder Garcha and Mr. Sarabjit Singh Kwatra did the context setting in which the participants got insights to embrace the change and agenda of the program was exhibited through an activity involving victory squares, victory couch and victory podium.

Management Development Program “ V-LEAD” Learn, Engage, Adapt and Demonstrate

The program was conducted in an outbound mode in which the participants relived their experience in various activities through which they updated their skills of team building, displaying a high level of ownership, building network, time management leading through influence and motivation and outcome-oriented planning.  The sprawling campus, world-class infrastructure and training facilities of LPU were utilized to make the learning experience of the participants effective, enjoyable and everlasting.

Ms. Kanu Sharma, Assistant Professor and Head of Department, Soft skills and Mr.Ajay Kumar Sharma, Assistant Professor and Head of corporate training, HRDC were the program coordinators. The program received appreciation from the participants in terms of conduct, the response of coaches to the queries, training infrastructure and hospitality of LPU. “I learned, How to manage every situation on time. In conclusion, teamwork builds the network strong.”, said Ms. Ranjeet Kaur, a participant and senior HR executive of Midland Microfin Limited.
