Mr Malhotra’s each and every word was applauded by the students.

In continuation to its various initiatives of bringing Academia-Industry work together for ultimate benefit of Indian youth, Lovely Professional University invited Managing Director of Nissan Motor (India) Mr Arun Malhotra at its campus today. Mr Malhotra addressed & interacted with thousands of new engineering students to motivate them in the very initial phase of their higher academics. Under his unique mentorship new students and their parents remained spell-bound throughout his orations full of great advices. Based on his personal experiences, successes, failures and people around, Mr Malhotra’s each and every word was applauded by the students. Inspiring students to be a great part of PM Narendra Modi’s ‘Make in India’ mission, Mr Malhotra advised students to be always focused, result oriented, conscious, full of intensity, involved, and with interest in all of their undertakings.

He elaborated all these by taking examples from diverse fields of youth interest including politics, science, technology, sports, bollywood and more. He mentored students: “India is shining brightly, brand yourself and prove your worth. Try hard not to be mere job seekers, following great examples you too can emerge as job providers. Go for the subjects or fields which excite you in your interest areas. Never jump to conclusions, always give a thought for the resultant before presenting it to others. Be innovative, and keep this in mind that innovation is also learning from others and creative re-invention thereof.” He also awakened students for adopting good eating habits for being fit and fine throughout their life to do great works for the nation. Expressing high appreciation for various LPU endeavours, Mr Malhotra termed new students as fortunate ones for being in an international level study environment. Expressing his strong impression about the infrastructure at LPU, the alumnus of prestigious IIM Calcutta, Mr Malhotra wished to be a student once again in such an environ. With over 30 years of experience in the automotive industry, Malhotra has worked in organizations including Mahindra & Mahindra, Bajaj Auto, Maruti Suzuki and more on top positions.

LPU Chancellor Mr Ashok Mittal appreciated the great mentorship of the elite guest and said: “I am happy to see a seasoned auto-industry leader Mr Malhotra joining us to mentor students in a dynamic way. I am also elated to announce that Mr Malhotra has been kind enough to accept to be a member of University Governing Council.” Mr Mittal asked students to follow each and every word of the guest in true letter and spirit.
