School of Hotel Management and Tourism organised Mishthan Chef Competition on 2nd February 2019

Dessert competition (Mishthan Chef Competition)

This competition was all about to judge the individual knowledge about the Indian and
western dessert. This competition provided an opportunity to students to show case their skill in front of everyone with the help of our Concerned faculty members and our team we were able able to achieve the target on the time without any hassle.

About the event

The competition was organised by food production club on 2nd of February,2019 in which
35 teams participated consisting of two members each and they had to prepare two
different desserts Indian and Western for which the allotted time was only 3 hours including the plating. Judgement was done by executive chef Rahul Rawat of Radisson Jalandhar along with 2 Internal faculty members.

After completion of the dish they had to present their dish for the tasting and marks were
given to them after tasting of dish. There were 3 winners who were awarded with
trophy, certificate and gift hampers.
