Dr Ashok Kumar Mittal raised 47 questions in the recently concluded Budget Session 2023. Dr Mittal raised the second highest number of questions amongst the Members of Parliament representing Punjab in Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha.
Even though the session recorded a productivity of just 24.4 per cent; Dr. Mittal posed questions to 34 different ministries on issues of national interest and the development of Punjab.
He raised questions concerning Adampur International Airport; Welfare Policy for Retail Shopkeepers; Industrial Units in Punjab; Road Development Projects in Punjab; Unemployment Rate in the country; Engagement of ASHA Workers; Cotton Exports; Adoption of Old Pension Scheme etc.
Dr Ashok Mittal in his role as a Member of Parliament continues to hold the government accountable and voice the concerns of the People of Punjab.
