There is no definition of beauty, but when you can see someone’s spirit coming through, something unexplainable, that’s beautiful to me. -Liv Tyler
Indeed, the spirit is considered to be the front of any beautiful person or thing. We know that the film industry is considered to be a paradise of graceful people. It depends upon what we consider beautiful.
UNYC, under the aegis of the Division of Student Welfare, LPU invited Tridha Choudhury in their series called “My Unscripted Moments“. Ms. Tridha is a famous actress who has worked in multiple Bengali, Telugu films, and OTT series. The insightful session was hosted by Mr. Sachin Sidhra, a faculty member of LPU. The session started with discussing Ms. Tridha’s journey from “Fresh Face 2011” to her lead roles in movies and series. During her graduation, she was a microbiology student when her friend pushed her to participate in Calcutta Times Fresh Face Competition.
It’s been around 10 years when she embarked on this journey. She remembered that she was not a very studious girl yet was balanced in every possible way. She was also nostalgic about her first shoot, where she was nervous and had to manage a lot of things. She was humble in her speech and acknowledged that she was privileged enough to be a financially stable and supportive family.
She informed me that being an actor isn’t about looking beautiful, but it is a much more technical field of work. You need to be conscious about where to look, and discipline also has a significant role in acting. She talked about the importance of appreciation, which motivates the actors to take more roles. Yet, there is always some insecurity somewhere or the other.
Talking about the boom of social media, Ms. Tridha had some interesting views about the use of social media. She referred to social media as a “space to express.” It gives unlimited access to the people to pursue their dreams and understand other people’s ideologies.
Ms. Tridha also had some intriguing facts about traveling. She said she loves to travel because it makes a person more receptive to different cultures and traditions, resulting in global citizenship. She said a person does not need to be rich to travel. You just need to have the zeal to explore.
There was a reflective space in the end where Ms. Tridha requested everyone to cherish the journey.
I mentioned the meaning of beauty at the start. In the end, I want to conclude that “Humble behavior is the real beauty,” and Ms. Tridha is genuinely a beautiful person.
