Two of the BTech Computer Science & Engineering students, Bishakha Jain and Piyush Sinha of LPU have been selected by Multibillion Dollars Finance Giant- ‘NASDAQ’ for its prestigious internship program. LPU students are among the only 13 students selected from across India. These students will get internship stipend of Rs 50,000 per month, and have joined Nasdaq Corporate Solutions (India), Company Office, in Bangalore. Yet to be graduated, selected students have got broad opportunity, even during the heavy lockdown phases of COVID 19 Pandemic, to soon shine out globally.
Worth mentioning, Post Internship, there will be a conditional opportunity, to be converted to Full Time Employee (FTE) on the successful completion of the internship. Congratulating the hard working students, LPU Chancellor Mr Ashok Mittal shares: “I think companies are now looking at their long-term future, and are realizing that the talent like that at LPU is their future. Only a few months back one of other LPU CSE students was selected by Microsoft at Rs 42 Lakh package immediately after her internship.”
Setting another benchmark for LPU CSE student-community, Bisakha and Piyush delivered exemplary performance in the national level Hackathon and cracked multiple interviews to bag this wonderful opportunity. LPU had already provided them with all the required skills-set for achieving such a wonderful milestone. Selected students hold: “The timely inputs from the placement cell of the university, different certifications in data structures, JAVA, and competitive programming were crucial for our selection.
