Mr. Terence Lewis, exalted Indian contemporary terpsichorean, choreographer, former judge of Indian television dance series Dance India Dance season I, II, and III, owner of the fabled Terence Lewis Contemporary Dance Company operating in India and abroad, bestowed the honor upon Vertos and the entire Lovely Professional University family with his presence on the 7th of April 2022, 03:00 PM at Shanti Devi Mittal Auditorium.

On a Thursday siesta, Hon’ble Member of Parliament & Chancellor Mr. Ashok Mittal and Pro-Chancellor Mrs. Rashmi Mittal hosted the dance demigod, Mr. Terence Lewis, accompanied by lyricist Ms. Vandana Khandelwal and film-maker Ms. Ketki Pandit Mehta, as they progressed towards to stage; the Shanti Devi Mittal Auditorium witnessed a crowd packed with thousands of dance enthusiasts, faculties, staff, and Vertos, all assembled to pay tribute to the man who introduced Indians to a brand new world of contemporary dance.

The joyous occasion was for raising a toast for his in-vogue debut ballad song “Shaidayee,” which racked up five million views within a mere six days of its release. Shaidayee is a blissful ballad song that reinforces that experiencing love within you is enough when you sincerely adore someone without any obligations or reciprocation. And it didn’t end just celebrations; it was all joy, rock and roll, swing and sway, as all the Vertos did along with the iconic dancer and choreographer.

As the show progressed, Terence also taught several dance steps from his song to teachers and students from across the globe swaying & enjoying, and who would like to skimp on some Bhangra beats while visiting Punjab! Putting an end to a lively session, the guests interacted with the students; Terence also praised Lovely Professional University’s study ambiance, stating that it is “perfectly splendid” and that “learning in all kinds never ceases.” With that, he signed off!
