Can you remember someone telling you a story that you could relate to, a story that gave you the same amount of overwhelming as when you are watching your all-time favorite movie? Listening to a wonderfully told story is precious and rare. Rare because, your mind is not fed with moving images, but left to imagine on its own how the different episodes might have proceeded. That is when the story that is being told by another person becomes relatable to you. And you observe the incidents in the story as incidents happening with you.
Storytelling is an art. One such storytelling artist, Mr. Vijit Singh, will be here at LPU to tell you a story, in Hindi, without reading, in a very thought-provoking way. This event is an amalgamation of a heart touching story, background score, and props. Stories we hear everyday go unnoticed and are often incapable to instill an emotion. But, a story told by Mr. Vijit Singh will be an entirely different experience.
“Musafir Kissonwala” is an initiative by Mr. Vijit Singh. Listening to stories being told by grandparents is a forgotten experience, which we used to love and enjoy. The stories will be told in such a way that the listeners will feel like the characters in the story. The aim is to revive the experience of listening to stories told by grandparents.
