Recognizing the need for student centred teaching in the era of digital transformation, a two-day Faculty Development Program, High Impact Teaching Skills by Dale Carnegie and Associates, Inc. was organized by Lovely Professional University on October 6 & 7, 2017.
The FDP was conducted by Dr. Vinita Yadav, Training Consultant from Dale Carnegie and Associates, Inc., headquartered in New York, USA, having its presence in 90 countries, trained more than 8 million people worldwide in more than 25 languages with over 400 of the Fortune 500 companies as its clients.
High Impact Teaching Skills Program was spread over eight sessions in which participants were individually coached with respect to their presentation skills. There was a rich mix of individual and team activities making the training program interesting and interactive
The participants were appreciative of the gesture shown by the University in terms of choice of Trainer, appropriate learning environment, infrastructure, study material and content delivery. They were also impressed by the subject expertise of the resource person.
