Background &Rationale

Workshop on ‘Time Management and Decision-Making Skills’, a Corporate Training Program was organized at Lovely Professional University for staff members of SHOW SPACE EVENTS PVT. LTD. Mr. Ankur Sodhi,Assistant Professor, Ms. Harjeet Kaur,Assistant Professor, Mr. Rahul Sharma, Assistant Professor and Dr. Rajesh Verma, Professor, Lovely Professional University were the key facilitators.

The Workshop focused on increased performance and productivity through time management. The participants learnt how to divide their time in important and urgent activities. The 80-20 principles were also discussed with them. Effective decision-making skills and decision-making process were also discussed with the help of activities. The schedule carried a multi-pronged approach that included inputs, group discussions, case-based analysis, role plays and finally presentations by the participants illustrating theirfindings.

The program received active participation of staff members from SHOW SPACE EVENTS PVT. LTD. The participants were appreciative of the gesture shown by the University in terms of choice of Subject Matter Experts, appropriate learning environment, venue setting, infrastructure, study tours and content delivery. They were also impressed by the subject expertise of the resource persons. The participants observed that the program was outcome oriented and gave them new insights on the topic.
