M.Sc Hotel Management student of Lovely Professional University has been selected by world’s Top Hotel Company ‘Ritz-Carlton’ (USA) at Rs 22.5 Lakh salary per annum. LPU student Anish Vikas Diwikar is to join duties in Boston (USA) after appearing for university M.Sc (Hotel Management) final exams in May 2015. United States of America has already issued VISA in his name and Anish is scheduled to take flight on 27th May 2015. With the completion of first phase of job for six months at Chatham Bars Inn (Boston) USA, Anish will shift to Ritz Carlton Miami (Florida, USA) as Chef, and supposedly get almost double of the salary offered for initial phase. As a seasoned Chef, Anish has expertise in preparing Thai, Mexican & Italian foods in addition to his varied sea-food preparations for beach tourists.
Full of emotions on getting dreams come true, Anish shared that a Guest Lecture at LPU had motivated him to forward his resume to world’ s supreme hotel group when he was only in M.Sc Part I. He told: “In due course of time I was invited to face selection board along with many other experienced and senior candidates from across India. The skills, detailed knowledge and practices which I had gathered at LPU favoured me much and I got selected.” Recollecting he says: “Upholding my skills, uniqueness, knowledge; I prepared Lobster fish for my selectors by removing its poison from within. Perhaps it was a great thing for a fresher like me who has yet to appear in the final examinations. It is all due to the theoretical and practical guidance I got at LPU.” Winner of many national and state level chef competitions, Anish shared that LPU provided him stardom as he was declared ‘LPU Chef of the Year 2013’ during very first year of his studies at LPU. Advising other students, he inspires: “Hotel Management profession is a very dedicated profession as it is a great service to human beings. We have to provide customers care, shelter, food and more. So this profession needs dedication and long duties. Students must not be scared of unseen stories about hotel industry, rather they should start working hard right from day one of entering the program. Studies are very soft and only based on passionate and practical learning processes to pay in abundance later on.”

Mrs Mittal asked Anish to continue working hard and to prove himself as a great LPU ambassador to the world.
