The fog has dispersed and the sun is starting to bear down. The happy times have come! Well, not for all and certainly not for our bodies. Personal grooming must be given the first priority as there’s always time to improve our quality of living. So, get rid of that arrogance and rebuild your daily routine.

First rule:

“HOT!” is the New Weather

Quite a population at LPU is very concerned with saving water. So they decide to skip the bath. If you must know why hygienists insist this much, it’s because your sweat has the potential to kill you! A bath every day will keep the doctor away and at times a bath twice a day is required.

Second rule:

“HOT!” is the New Weather

Invest in a deodorant. The classes or rather, any closed space can smell like a monkey house during hot afternoons. Carry a deodorant with you at all times and use it when you feel flushed and suffocated.

Third rule:

“HOT!” is the New Weather

Never wear the same pair of socks two days in a row without washing. Why? It’s not hygienic, it smells and you’re an adult.

Fourth rule:

“HOT!” is the New Weather

Speaking about feet, avoid wearing slippers/flip-flops to classes. Although they are the most comfortable during summer, they reduce your score of “personal branding”.

Fifth rule:

“HOT!” is the New Weather

Just because the winter has gone, it isn’t an excuse to stop using moisturizers and body lotions. Hydrating your skin will keep it looking healthy.

Sixth rule:

“HOT!” is the New Weather

It’s for all those young ladies out there who don’t use makeup. There was a study conducted which concluded that women who wear makeup are more likely to succeed than those who don’t. Don’t go extravaganza! Keep it light and professional.

Seventh rule:

“HOT!” is the New Weather

Dress appropriately. Every situation calls for a befitting style. Keep in mind that you are not attending a ramp walk, but a lecture. Avoid flashy accessories. Adopt a professional style.

Personal grooming is guaranteed to boost your self-confidence. Build yourself an image. Stay healthy, Stay hydrated, Stay tuned.
