It may sound cliché but sleeping in during daytime can be a major factor in degrading your health during winters. Go outside, run a mile, have a hot chocolate or go on a long bike ride with your friends. You’ll see a diffrent side of this season and it will make you love it a little more.

2. Take a vacation.

Planning a trip during winters is definitely uncommon, but it’s worthwile to go to an exotic location during this time of the year. No matter you’re taking a trip within your state or outside the country, it will wash away your winter blues.

During summers we don’t have to worry about the deficiency of vitamin D, but with the sun gone, it would be advisable to keep some Vit D on you.

Having high quantity of sugar in your diet will make you sleepy and lethargic. It’s not advisable to cut out all the sugar from your diet, but reducing it will give you a higher energy level.

5. Wear bright colours.

7. Lastly, adjust you’re couch in front of your fireplace, make a nice cup of hot chocolate, read a good book to read and then sleep coocooned in layers of soft, warm blankets.
