.. you just need the right shades in clothing and not a great number to create different looks.

Hello Youngistaanis! I hope everyone is having a great time trying to finish the assignments and scramble into the attendance safety zone before the MTEs? 😉

Anyway, as promised, here is my final take on creating different looks from all the apparelI I talked about in the previous write ups ( if you haven’t so far, please do check them out before you get into this write up ). Creating this look book, I had my own share of anxiety and fun, because my  goal is to make sure all of you take away at least one outfit inspiration from this. So yes, I had to brain storm every shape, size, and colour, to come up with choices that would compliment everyone.

I have tried to cover as many scenarios as possible – clothes and looks that are comfortable and suitable for everyday college life but also don’t leave you completely out of options when there is need for a statement look. I have also added some articles like sneakers and jogging pants ( since we all wear them ) just to make sure you don’t burn holes in your pockets trying overhaul your entire wardrobe.

As I said before, you just need the right shades in clothing and not a great number to create different looks – I’ve used just two pairs of shoes to create eleven looks in this write up, and if I am to be honest, there are so many more possibilities, but I want you to try some out yourself.

So guys here is a list of looks you can try flaunting this winter – from super casual to formal – with just a switch in pants or tee etc.

DENIM  JACKET

If you are someone who is not a big fan of formal wear, a denim jacketis your best friend.

The jogging pants and sneaker look is a very comfy and dandy look for your day at college or out with friends (you can even wear a turtle neck instead of the tee, depending on the weather).

This last denim jacket look is fluid – it can be formal or casual, depending on what you are comfortable with. You can even swap a smart, white shirt with the checks.

BOMBER JACKET

A basic bomber jacket to me just exudes confidence – it hugs in the right places, giving one a preppy look. They are easy to maintain, and for sure goe well in every occasion.

PEA COAT

Winters in Punjab as we all know is no mercy – Pea coat is such a life saver for those spine chilling cold days. It is perfect for layering with different winter wear provided you stick to neutral colours for the pea coat. Throw in a tartan muffler when you wear with a basic plain tee if you need a splash of colour.

BONUS LOOKS

Feeling bored to get ready? Wear a basic navy or black sweater with a basic tee or shirt and your day is saved.

That’s it guys, a very basic guide which I can assure will suit any body type, or skin tone, and for sure will get some heads turned ;). Just kidding, dress for yourself!

And for those who have been braving winter with sweatshirts, jeans and sneakers – I urge you to step out of your comfort zone and try out these looks. You won’t be disappointed.
