The most awaited festival of the year has finally begun. Youth Vibe 2016 officially opened today with thousands of students from colleges and universities all over India witnessing the event.
The pre opening ceremony which was just a teaser of all the the fun to come. It started near 14 Block where a dazzling street show was organised to showcase the amazing talent LPU has. “Desi Nostalgia”, a western dance group, opened the performance in which 9 girls and 8 boys moved the stage. Next, in a treat to every appreciative eye, a contingent of body builders posed to nearly swooning crowds.
World Challenge Silver Medal winner Ramesh Sir, proudly presented students who were holders of 10 taekwondo black belts and 2 red belts. Another such talent, Pawan Sir, who is a 7 year national challenge winner in Skating, was present to encourage the skaters of LPU. The event concluded with a street dance by a group who were the previous winners of Lovely’s Got Talent (LGT), and needless to mention, the audience grooved with them too.
Youth Vibe 2016 promises to be a roller coaster ride – can’t wait to hop on and take a spin!
