Another feather in the hat of the Lawreates – the soft skills club of the School of Law is the successful and grand completion of Chakra View, a competition based on Group Discussion which was held in Block 20 on 30th March.
Over 70 students from various schools of LPU participated with zeal and enthusiasm for the coveted top positions. The aim of the competition was to give the students a platform on which they could get exposure to the level of competition in the group discussions that they may need to participate in the real placement drives. It was good fun and learning for all and most of all, it was a very well managed show.
It comprised of 2 rounds, both having the same structure and rules. In each batch of the GD, there were 7 students who were given 8 minutes to discuss and conclude the GD. The 1st position was bagged by Karanjot Singh, the 2nd position by Aarti Kadian and Sujanya bagged the 3rd position.The judges of the competition were Kapil C Aggarwal (Assistant Professor, Soft Skills) and Gurwinder Kaur (Assistant Professor, Verbal Ability).The participants were encouraged when Dr Shailesh N Hadli, HOS of the School of Law visited the event.
