LPU Journalism & Film Production student turned popular Ollywood Actress Supriya Nayak got selected by Odisha Government for Coronavirus Awareness TVC for the welfare of the nation. In fact, Odisha CMO expedites suspected coronavirus sample testing process, ‘Odisha set up’ by setting up the first coronavirus testing facility at Regional Medical Research Centre (RMRC) in the state. With its establishment, the suspected coronavirus samples can get tested faster.
In this TVC released by the government, she can be seen awakening the common people on coronavirus. This is her first-ever TVC and that too for the awareness of the people. CM Patnaik has also tweeted: “Be aware of yourself and your family, friends and others through this alert video.”
Supriya shares with LPU’s Media Relation Department: “With pride and warmth I am sharing my first ever TVC which is by Odisha Govt. Hon’ble CM Mr Naveen Patnaik invited me to do so and he was the first one to tweet the video. I have always engaged myself in saving the environment in my own ways and encourage people to do the same. But, little did I know that I will work with the Government for my state’s people. Make them aware and educate them about the terror of CoronaVirus.”
Congratulating the multitalented student Supriya, LPU Chancellor Mr Ashok Mittal blesses her to be a big name even in the world of commercials. Talking about her journey in LPU, Supriya says: “Being an LPU student, I am pleased how my university backs me up and encourages me more and more by appreciating my work, now and then.” She has also worked for the prestigious environmental magazine “Down To Earth”.
Quite popular in Odisha Film Industry (Ollywood) Supriya has given three big hit movies one after another, Love Pain Kuchh Bhi Karega (2016), Only Pyaar (2018), and Biju Babu (2019). She entered the glamour industry through a reality show ‘Mu Bi Heroine Hebi’ and is now impressing her fans with her versatility.
