Lovely Professional University has started unique integrated graduate and post graduate programs that allow students to save a year in fees and time. Developed as per UGC Notification F 5-1/2013 (CPP-II), Integrated Programs after 10+2, available in Engineering, Management, Commerce, Computer Applications, Economics, and Education provide both bachelors & masters qualifications in 4 years instead of 5, and in five instead of six years. A unique Integrated Program in Education approved by NCTE allows for a three- year integrated program of B.Ed- M.Ed after post graduation. For such integrated programs a single degree for both qualifications would be awarded.
Discussing these unique programs, LPU Chancellor Mr. Ashok Mittal said, “LPU always envisions benefits for its students in one way or another. We have started these programs as we see that an integrated program ensures a better comprehension of a chosen subject of study from a multi-dimensional perspective. For these programs students get an assured fee structure and continuing scholarship which maintains fee for the higher degree program same as in the year of admission for the lower degree. As such, these integrated programs let students save one year of time and one year fee also.”
Some of the Integrated Programs to be covered in four years are: BCA-MCA; BBA-MBA; B Com-M Com; B Com-MBA; B.Sc-M Sc in Biotechnology, Microbiology, Botany, Zoology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Economics; BA-MA; BA-B Ed; and B.Sc-B Ed. Integrated programs in engineering like B Tech- M Tech and B Tech- MBA are to be covered in five years instead of six.
