Welcome Freshman, to your new home for the next few years. My congratulations to each one of you on joining the prestigious Lovely Professional University. It gives me great pleasure to usher in a class as qualified and diverse as yours. You hail from all states of the country and from many countries across the world. Your presence here will enrich the university as much as I know it will enrich each one of you.
The Freshman Induction will inform you of everything regarding your academics and university life. I will let you experience that with just one word of advice, make the most of all that is offered here. Learn everything you want and do everything you can. The university offers you a vast array of opportunities – here you can start a business, learn international languages, acquire new skills and push your horizons back.
I urge you to do the different – singers learn to dance, dancers learn to write; those pursuing engineering, take a class in journalism; journalism students take a course in management. Make new friends from across India and the world. Join sports clubs and social welfare ventures; and know that the world values the multi skilled today. If you use your years well you will leave here with great friends, beautiful memories, and the quality that is the USP of Vertos – versatility.
You have joined an extraordinary league of achievers. LPU alumni, the world over are doing great things, be it in governance, the IT sector, the hospitality industry, or the field of entertainment.
